Plain terms for using My Cards AI (the Mac app, the iPhone app, the Windows companion, and this website). Using the software means you accept them.
My Cards AI helps you catalog, value, and organize a trading card collection. It is a tool for your own record-keeping and decision-making.
Card values are estimates derived from public marketplace data — completed sales where available, active listings otherwise. Condition estimates are produced by software examining photographs; they are described in the app as a first pass, not a verdict, and they are not a professional grade from PSA, BGS, SGC, or anyone else. Real grades, real sale prices, and real market conditions will differ. Do not treat any number this software produces as a guarantee of what a card will grade or sell for, and do not rely on it as financial or investment advice. Decisions about buying, selling, or submitting cards for grading are yours alone.
Your collection data lives on your devices. Keeping backups is ultimately your responsibility — the app helps by copying data to your own cloud storage automatically, and by exporting to CSV whenever you ask.
Don't use the software to break the law, to infringe anyone's copyright or trademarks, or to abuse the third-party services it connects to (including scraping or exceeding rate limits).
The software connects to services including eBay's public APIs and an AI provider. Those services have their own terms and their own availability. My Cards AI is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by eBay, PSA, BGS, SGC, Topps, Panini, Upper Deck, or any card manufacturer, marketplace, or grading company. Trademarks and card images belong to their respective owners.
This is early-access software under active development by one person. Features may change, and services it depends on may be interrupted. It is provided as is, without warranties, and liability is limited to the amount you have paid for it.
